Balance and ledger
Your balance is a single number of SOL of volume, kept against your wallet address. Every change to it is recorded in a ledger, so you can always trace how you got to the number on screen.
Where the balance lives#
The balance is stored against the public address of the wallet you connect, not against a username or a browser. Connect the same wallet on a phone and on a laptop and you see the same balance, the same sessions and the same history. If you connect a different wallet, you see that wallet's balance, which starts at zero.
Use one wallet address for the panel and stick with it. Payments can come from anywhere, but everything you buy is credited to the address you were connected with when you placed the order.
What changes the balance#
| Ledger kind | Effect | When it happens |
|---|---|---|
| Pack | Adds the package volume | A payment is matched and the order becomes Paid |
| Session | Takes the session volume | You start a session, including a scheduled one |
| Refund | Returns unspent volume | You stop a session before it has traded everything |
| Adjustment | Adds or removes volume, with a note | Support corrects a balance, for example after a late payment |
Volume is reserved for a session the moment you create it, even if it is scheduled to start later. That way a session can never start without the volume it was promised. If you stop a scheduled session before its start time, the full amount comes back as a refund.
Reading the ledger#
The Activity tab lists every ledger entry with its time in UTC, its kind, the amount and a label such as the package name or the token. Entries that relate to a payment carry its transaction signature. The running total of all entries is your balance.
A short example#
| Time (UTC) | Kind | Amount | Balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nov 5, 09:12 | Pack: Growth | +1,200 SOL | 1,200 SOL |
| Nov 5, 09:20 | Session: token A | -400 SOL | 800 SOL |
| Nov 5, 09:21 | Session: token B | -300 SOL | 500 SOL |
| Nov 5, 10:05 | Refund: token B stopped | +180 SOL | 680 SOL |
| Nov 6, 16:40 | Pack: Starter | +500 SOL | 1,180 SOL |
Token B was given 300 SOL, had traded 120 SOL when it was stopped, and the remaining 180 SOL was refunded. The numbers here are an illustration of how entries add up, not real account data.
Balance rules#
- The balance never expires.
- It cannot go below zero. A session can only be started with volume you already hold.
- It belongs to one wallet address. The panel has no option to move it to another address.
- It is volume, not SOL. There is no way to withdraw it as SOL.
