Key concepts

A handful of words carry most of the meaning in these docs. Each one below has a precise sense in PumpCrate, and the rest of the documentation uses them that way.

Volume balance#

The volume balance is the amount of trading volume, measured in SOL, that is stored against your wallet address. Buying a package adds to it. Starting a session takes from it. Stopping a session early returns the unspent part to it. The balance never expires and follows your address to any device you connect from.

Volume here means the SOL value of buys and sells a session places on a token. A session with 100 SOL of volume places buys and sells whose combined value comes to about 100 SOL.

Package#

A package is a fixed amount of volume sold for a fixed SOL price. There are three: Starter (2 SOL for 500 SOL of volume), Growth (5 SOL for 1,200) and Pro (10 SOL for 3,000). A package is not a single job. It is a top-up to your balance, and several packages stack. Details on Packages and pricing.

Order#

An order is one package purchase. It records the package, the price, the payment address reserved for it, its status and, once paid, the transaction signature of your payment. Order statuses are Waiting (address reserved, payment not yet found), Paid (payment matched, volume credited) and Expired (the 30 minute window passed without a matching payment). Orders are listed under Payments in the panel.

Session#

A session is one run of trading on one token. It has a token mint, a volume, a run length, board activity settings and a status. Sessions are independent: you can run several at the same time on different tokens, start one now and another next month, and stop any of them without affecting the rest. See Starting a session.

Session wallet#

Each session uses its own new batch of Solana wallets with uneven funding. These wallets place the buys and sells and, if enabled, post comments, add favorites and follow the creator. Nothing carries over from one session to the next. Session wallets are never your wallet: your own wallet is only read, never used to trade.

Mint#

The mint is the address of a token on Solana. Every Pump.fun token has one, and it is how PumpCrate knows which token a session should trade. When you paste a mint into the panel, it looks up the token name, symbol and image so you can confirm it is the right one.

Bonding curve and PumpSwap pool#

A new Pump.fun token first trades on its bonding curve, a pricing account owned by the Pump.fun program. When the curve has sold its full allocation, the token migrates and from then on trades in a PumpSwap pool. A session can run in either place and moves from one to the other by itself if the curve completes mid-run. The bonding curve reference covers the math.

Board activity#

Board activity is the token page side of a session: comments on the Pump.fun board, favorites, and follows of the token creator, all from session wallets and spread across the run. It is included in every package and set per session. See Comments, favorites and follows.

Ledger#

The ledger is the list of every change to your balance. Each entry has a kind: Pack (a package was credited), Session (volume was assigned to a session), Refund (unspent volume came back from a stopped session) or Adjustment (a manual correction by support, with a note). The panel shows it under Activity.
