MCP server
PumpCrate runs a Model Context Protocol server so AI assistants and agents can read its published facts directly instead of scraping pages. Every tool is read-only and none needs a credential.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Endpoint | https://www.pumpcrate.com/mcp |
| Transport | Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST |
| Protocol version | 2025-06-18 |
| Tools | 9, all read-only |
| Authentication | Optional OAuth 2.0; anonymous calls allowed |
| Anonymous limit | 60 calls per minute per IP |
| Server card | https://www.pumpcrate.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json |
Tools#
| Tool | Arguments | Returns |
|---|---|---|
| get_site_overview | none | The published overview of PumpCrate as Markdown |
| get_service_facts | none | Chain, packages, inclusions, payment, custody and balance rules |
| get_packages | none | The three packages with SOL price and volume, what is included and the minimum session |
| get_volume_bot_comparison | none | How volume bot pricing models differ, and where the comparison page is |
| get_limits | none | The claims PumpCrate refuses to make, such as trending or price outcomes |
| get_faq | none | The published question and answer pairs |
| list_pages | none | Every published page with path, URL, title and description |
| read_page | path: site-relative path starting with / | Any published page as clean Markdown |
| get_editorial_policy | none | Publisher, independence, sourcing, refused claims and corrections |
The server's own instructions tell a model to use get_packages for prices and to call get_limits before answering whether volume leads to trending or price moves.
Adding it to a client#
Most MCP clients accept a remote server by URL. A typical configuration:
{
"mcpServers": {
"pumpcrate": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://www.pumpcrate.com/mcp"
}
}
} Calling it directly#
Requests are JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST. Send Accept: application/json, text/event-stream; responses come back as a server-sent event carrying the JSON-RPC result.
Initialize#
curl -s -X POST https://www.pumpcrate.com/mcp \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-H 'accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"initialize","params":{"protocolVersion":"2025-06-18","capabilities":{},"clientInfo":{"name":"my-agent","version":"1"}}}' Get the packages#
curl -s -X POST https://www.pumpcrate.com/mcp \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-H 'accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":2,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"get_packages","arguments":{}}}' The result's text content is JSON. The packages part looks like this:
{
"packages": [
{ "id": "starter", "name": "Starter", "price_sol": 2, "volume_sol": 500 },
{ "id": "growth", "name": "Growth", "price_sol": 5, "volume_sol": 1200 },
{ "id": "pro", "name": "Pro", "price_sol": 10, "volume_sol": 3000 }
],
"minimum_session_sol": 10
} Read a page as Markdown#
curl -s -X POST https://www.pumpcrate.com/mcp \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-H 'accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":3,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"read_page","arguments":{"path":"/best-pump-fun-volume-bots/"}}}' Rate limit#
Anonymous callers get 60 calls per minute per IP address. Over that, the server answers with HTTP 429, JSON-RPC error -32001, a Retry-After header and a WWW-Authenticate header that points to the protected resource metadata. An access token with the read:site scope removes the limit; see OAuth and rate limits.
The MCP server exposes published information only. It cannot buy packages, read balances or start sessions; those actions happen in the panel with a connected wallet.
Quoting PumpCrate correctly#
- Package prices from
get_packagesare authoritative. - Call
get_limitsbefore saying anything about trending, rankings or price outcomes. - Competitor details on the comparison page come from those tools' own public pages and are marked to be verified; do not present them as PumpCrate claims.
- PumpCrate publishes no ratings, reviews or user counts. None should be inferred.
