Quickstart: your first PumpCrate session
This page takes you from nothing to a running session. It assumes you have a Solana wallet with a little more SOL than the package you want, and the mint address of a Pump.fun token.
Before you begin#
- A Solana wallet: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, Trust, OKX, Jupiter, Coinbase Wallet or another Solana wallet. See Connecting a wallet for the full list and phone instructions.
- Enough SOL for the package price: 2, 5 or 10 SOL, plus a few thousandths of a SOL for the network fee of your transfer. The payment can come from any wallet or from an exchange withdrawal.
- The mint address of the token. On Pump.fun it is the last part of the token page URL. It is also shown on Solscan and DexScreener.
The five steps#
- Open the panel. Go to pumpcrate.com/dashboard. No wallet is needed to look around. You can open the New session form, try presets and see the payment steps before connecting anything.
- Connect a wallet. Press Connect and choose your wallet. On a computer this uses the browser extension or a QR code, on Android the wallet app opens, and on iPhone Phantom or Solflare open, approve the connection and send you back. The panel only reads your public address. Nothing asks you to sign.
- Pick a package. Starter gives 500 SOL of volume for 2 SOL, Growth 1,200 SOL for 5 SOL, Pro 3,000 SOL for 10 SOL. The order is written against the address you connected.
- Pay. The panel reserves one of our payment addresses for you for 30 minutes and shows the exact amount with a QR code. Send the SOL, then press I have paid. The panel checks the chain every 30 seconds and the package turns active as soon as the transfer is confirmed.
- Start a session. In New session, paste the token mint, set the volume for this token (10 SOL or more), pick a preset or a run length, and press Start. The session appears under Sessions with its status and progress.
You can do steps 1 and 5 without a wallet to see exactly what a session will look like, including the hourly rate and the total. The panel only asks you to connect when you press Start or Buy.
What you see after starting#
The new session shows up in the Sessions tab and on Overview. Its status begins as Queued, moves to Running while it trades, and ends as Done once the assigned volume has settled. Open the session to see its settings, a progress bar of traded volume and a timeline of events. If you scheduled it for later, it shows the start time in UTC and stays Queued until then.
The volume you assigned is taken from your balance when the session is created. If you stop it before it finishes, the part that has not traded yet is returned to the balance straight away. See Session lifecycle.
A worked example#
Say you buy a Growth package. You pay 5 SOL and your balance becomes 1,200 SOL of volume. You launch a token today and give it 400 SOL over 3 hours with the Slow build preset. The balance drops to 800 SOL. Next week you add two new tokens in one go at 200 SOL each, which takes another 400 SOL. You still hold 400 SOL of volume, with no expiry, for whatever comes next.
| Action | Volume used | Balance after |
|---|---|---|
| Buy Growth (pay 5 SOL) | - | 1,200 SOL |
| Token A, 400 SOL, 3 hours | 400 SOL | 800 SOL |
| Tokens B and C, 200 SOL each | 400 SOL | 400 SOL |
| Stop token C after 50 SOL traded | 150 SOL returned | 550 SOL |
Common first questions#
Do I need 500 SOL to run 500 SOL of volume?#
No. The bot trades with its own SOL. The package price is the whole cost; you never provide trading capital. See Packages and pricing.
Can I pay from an exchange?#
Yes. The transfer can come from any wallet or an exchange withdrawal, as long as it reaches the reserved address within the reservation window with at least the amount shown. The package is credited to the wallet you connected when you placed the order, not to the sender. See Paying for a package.
What if my token migrates during the session?#
Nothing to do. The session follows the token from the bonding curve to its PumpSwap pool and spends the rest of its volume there. See Migration during a session.
