Session lifecycle and statuses
Every session moves through a small set of statuses. Knowing what each one means tells you exactly where your volume is at any moment.
Statuses#
| Status | Meaning | Volume |
|---|---|---|
| Queued | Created and waiting to start, either because it was just launched or because it is scheduled for later | Reserved from your balance |
| Running | Placing trades and board activity on the token | Being traded; the progress bar shows how much |
| Done | The assigned volume has fully settled | Fully used |
| Stopped | You stopped it before it finished | Untraded part returned to your balance |
The Sessions tab can be filtered by All, Live (Queued and Running together), Queued, Done and Stopped, and searched by mint, symbol or name.
Progress#
Each session shows traded against its volume as a progress bar. Traded is the SOL value of trades that have settled so far. While any of your sessions are live, the panel refreshes them automatically every 20 seconds, so you can leave the tab open and watch.
The session detail view#
Open a session to see everything about it in one place: the token, the settings it was created with (volume, run time, preset, comment density, favorites, follow, language and whether custom lines were used), its progress, and a timeline of events such as queued, started, stopped and done, each with a UTC time.
Stopping a session#
- Open Sessions and find the session, or open its detail view.
- Press Stop. This works while the session is Queued or Running.
- The session becomes Stopped and the untraded volume is credited back to your balance as a Refund entry in Activity.
refund = session volume - traded so far
A scheduled session stopped before its start time refunds its full volume. A session stopped near the end refunds only the small part left. Done and Stopped sessions cannot be stopped again, and their volume is final.
Run again#
Every session in the list has a Run again button. It opens New session with the same token, volume, run time, board settings, language and preset already filled in. Change anything you like, then press Start as usual. It is the quickest way to repeat a run that worked, or to restart a stopped one with new settings.
What a session never does#
- It never takes more volume than you assigned to it.
- It never starts before its scheduled time.
- It never uses your wallet. All trades come from session wallets.
- It never restarts by itself after you stop it.
