Session presets

Presets are starting points that set the run time and board activity together. They do not set the volume, which you always choose yourself.

The four presets#

PresetRun timeComment densityFavoritesCreator followIdea
First hour1 hour40%60%OnA compact opening window for a fresh mint
Slow build3 hours35%55%OnSteady flow while the chart forms a base
Quiet tape12 hours15%30%OffSmall orders spread thin over a long window
Big prints2 hours25%45%OnA heavier tape in a shorter window

Slow build is selected when you open the form. Picking a preset replaces the run time, comment density, favorites and follow setting. Changing any of those afterwards switches the selection to Custom, and your volume stays as you set it.

How the same volume looks under each preset#

The preset changes how a given volume is spread. With 240 SOL of volume on one token:

PresetRun timeVolume per hour
First hour60 min240 SOL
Big prints120 min120 SOL
Slow build180 min80 SOL
Quiet tape720 min20 SOL

Picking one#

First hour#

For a token that has just been created and needs activity during its first hour on the Pump.fun feed. Board activity is at its highest of the four presets, so the token page fills up at the same pace as the chart.

Slow build#

The general default. Three hours is long enough to look like steady interest and short enough to finish within one session of attention from the market.

Quiet tape#

For keeping a token active over half a day with a light touch: low comment density, fewer favorites, no creator follows. Good for tokens that already have a community and only need the chart to stay alive.

Big prints#

A heavier rate over two hours, for moments when you want the volume concentrated, such as around an announcement.

Use Run again on a session that worked well to reuse its exact settings on another token. It carries over the preset, or the custom settings if you changed them.
